Palace Casino Resort to Close at 8 PM on Saturday, August 28 Due to Hurricane Ida
August 27, 2021 — August 27, 2021—In the face of severe weather, Palace Casino Resort’s primary
concern is for the safety of the resort’s guests and associates. The forecasted storm surge
related to Hurricane Ida will likely cause significant flooding of roads and parking areas,
near the resort.
“We are closing the casino and hotel to the public at 8 PM on Saturday, August 28.
We plan to reopen Tuesday morning, August 31 at 8 AM, and will update everyone
after the storm passes,” stated General Manager, Keith Crosby.
